Hello again ,

Milisa here ! A visual communication designer, Montserrat enthusiast, and firm believer that good design starts with asking too many questions (and ends with way too many open InDesign tabs). I’m passionate about crafting bold, research-driven work that actually communicates something , not just looks pretty. Whether it’s branding, editorial layouts, or trying to get the perfect hover effect in Wix, I’m all in. Montserrat may not solve all my problems, but at least it looks good trying.

My Story

I became a designer because I’ve always been drawn to the way visuals shape how we connect with ideas and each other. Long before I knew what “design” really was, I was already rearranging things, picking apart posters, and color-coding my life like it was a creative brief. Turns out, that instinct for visuals had a name  and a whole industry behind it.

Throughout my time studying at CPUT, I’ve had the chance to explore everything from branding and editorial layouts to UI/UX concepts that put creativity and user needs in conversation. I’ve designed for passion projects that celebrate local culture, imagined future-facing food brands, and even built a silent disco fitness app that makes working out feel like a party.

What drives me most is creating work that feels intentional and not just beautiful, but thoughtful and backed by research. Whether I’m mapping out wireframes, building mockups, or testing ideas, I’m all in.
